The Board of Directors of Buzzi Unicem, which met today, resolved the issue of a benchmark bond in euro, (amount of 300-400 million), with minimum denomination of €50,000 to be placed with institutional investors only. The amount and the price of the offering will be defined based on market conditions. Buzzi plans to apply for the listing of the bond and the admission to trading on the Luxembourg regulated market (Luxembourg Stock Exchange). Through the forthcoming issue, the company aims at diversifying the funding sources and lenghtening the average debt maturity profile.

Banca IMI and Deutsche Bank will act as Joint Lead Manager and Joint Bookrunner of the transaction.
