This is to inform that, with regards to Buzzi Unicem’s Annual General Meeting of Shareholders convened on May 13, 2008 in first call and May 15, 2008 in second call to resolve, inter alia, on the appointment of the statutory auditors committee, only one list of candidates to the position of auditors, submitted by the controlling shareholder, has been deposited at the company’s registered office.

Consequently, pursuant to art . 144 sexies, 5th paragraph of Consob Regulation no. 11971/99, up to Friday, May 2, 2008 at 17.00 additional lists may be submitted by shareholders that, on their own or together with others, overall hold ordinary shares representing at least 0.75% of the stock entitled to vote in the ordinary shareholders’ meeting.
