Dyckerhoff EKO and Dyckerhoff EKO PLUS EPD Certificates
Following our internal need to be ECO and responding to market needs, in December 2023 we obtained Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) Type III certificates for our Dyckerhoff EKO and Dyckerhoff EKO Plus concretes, produced in three plants in Warsaw.
EPD certificates are documents that provide detailed information on the environmental impact of a given product throughout its life cycle. They include the analysis of various aspects, such as energy consumption, greenhouse gas emissions, and the use of natural resources. Thanks to them, investors, architects and developers can make more informed decisions regarding the selection of building materials.
Warsaw, which is the heart of Poland's dynamic construction market, is increasingly focusing on ecological and sustainable practices. Obtaining EPD certificates is a step in line with the needs of this market. Customers looking for building materials will now be able to be sure that, in addition to the high quality of the products we produce, Dyckerhoff Polska also cares about the environment, which is confirmed by the certificates obtained.
By providing detailed information on the ecological footprint of our products, we enable customers to make choices based on reliable data on the environmental impact of concrete. Obtaining EPD certificates is a step in line with the needs of this market.
Obtaining EPD certificates for our products not only emphasizes our commitment to environmental protection, but also contributes to increasing ecological awareness in the construction industry.
With this initiative, we show that caring for the environment can and should be an integral part of business activities.
